Looking over the NFL Week 6 injury list, the 4-1 Dallas Cowboys won’t be facing a difficult choice at quarterback as they meet the 5-0 Philadelphia Eagles in a battle for NFC East supremacy. QB1 Dak Prescott is being ruled out for the fifth week in a row due to a fractured thumb. That means the Cowboys, 6.5-point road underdogs in the NFL odds, will be rolling with Cooper Rush, who’s 4-0 since replacing the injured Prescott.
Elsewhere, the New England Patriots will be visiting the Cleveland Browns without QB1 Mac Jones (ankle) and RB Damien Harris. After testing his injured hamstring in the warmup, Harris determined that he wouldn’t be able to go. WR Nelson Agholor (hamstring) is also out for New England.
Facing the Kansas City Chiefs on the road, the Buffalo Bills, favorites in the Super Bowl odds are going into this game as healthy as they’ve been in weeks. Only WR Jake Kumerow (ankle) is out. Meanwhile, the Chiefs are welcoming back kicker Harrison Butker (ankle) for the first time since he was injured in Week 1.
As the Indianapolis Colts take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indy’s top two RB – Jonathan Taylor (ankle) and Nyheim Hines (concussion) – are out, as is LB Shaquille Leonard. The Jaguars are without WR Marvin Jones (hamstring).

Andy Dalton gets the start at QB for the New Orleans Saints. Jameis Winston (back) will serve as the emergency QB. WR Michael Thomas (foot) and Chris Olave (concussion) are out for the Saints.
Let’s take a look through all the prominent names on the Week 6 injury report and how it’s impacting the NFL picks against the spread.

NFL Week 6 Inactives
Losers of two in a two in a row, the Miami Dolphins are facing the Minnesota Vikings with third stinger Skylar Thompson at QB. Tua Tagovailoa (ankle/concussion) is out. Teddy Bridgewater (concussion/pectoral) is dressing as Thompson’s backup. RB Rahim Mostert (knee), who rushed for a season-high 110 yards in last week’s loss to the New York Jets, is good to go, though.
The Arizona Cardinals are with RB James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) and K Matt Prater (hip) for their game against the Seattle Seahawks. Eno Benjamin will start at RB for Arizona and get the bulk of the carries, something to keep in mind when playing NFL player props.
From @NFLGameDay: The #Rams are expected to field calls for RB Cam Akers and could trade him before the deadline, while the #AZCardinals are severely short-handed at RB today. pic.twitter.com/bFgKuc5GI6

There’s mystery involving the reigning Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. Stumbling at 2-3, the Rams will be without RB Cam Akers on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. The Rams are listing his absence as being due to personal reasons. Published reports are citing philosophical and football-related issues between Akers and head coach Sean McVay. The Panthers are starting QB PJ Walker in place of Baker Mayfield (ankle).
