Best Passing Props to Bet for Week 5
1) Joe Burrow over 273.5 passing yards (-115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Baltimore Ravens used to be known for defense. Not anymore. Those days are gone. After four weeks they’re allowing 25 points per game to rank 23rd.
Their pass defense ranks dead-last in the league allowing 315.3 YPG. They allowed Joe Flacco to throw for 309 yards, Tua Tagovailoa 469, Mac Jones 321 and Josh Allen 213.
Joe Burrow is averaging 274.8 passing yards per game and I think he’ll have every opportunity to eclipse 273.5 on Sunday in his NFL player props.
Joe Burrow against the Ravens last season:
Week 7: 23/38 – 416 yards – 3 TD – 1 INT
Week 16: 37/46 – 525 yards – 4 TD – 0 INTCan he stay hot against Baltimore this week? pic.twitter.com/k682vaB0Ko

2) Josh Allen over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-200); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook
Last season Josh Allen threw for 36 touchdowns in the regular season. He threw for multiple TDs in 13 regular season games. Then he threw for five and four TDs in two playoff games. To start 2022 Allen had three, four, two and one passing touchdowns after the first four weeks.
Week 4 saw season lows all around though for Allen in each of passing attempts, completions, yards and touchdowns.
Pittsburgh’s defense is nothing special this year and they rank just 21st in passing YPG allowed. That’s great news for Allen and the Bills who rely heavily on the passing game. The Steelers have given up two passing touchdowns in three of four games this season to much worse QBs than Allen who is second in both passing yards and passing TDs.
3) Kenny Pickett over 0.5 interceptions (-215); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook
We’ll stick in the same game here and back Pittsburgh’s rookie QB to turn the ball over. Kenny Pickett entered the game last week at half-time to replace Mitchell Trubisky. In one half of play, Pickett was 10/13 for 120 yards and three INTs. The completion percentage is good and all the interceptions weren’t his fault, but making your first start in Buffalo against the league’s top-ranked defense in YPG allowed and who have also picked off the most opposing QBs for seven INTs this season is not a great spot to be going into.

When it comes to rushing yards for NFL Week 5, Nick Chubb at 90.5 yards has the highest total.
Best Rushing Props to Bet for Week 5
1) Damien Harris over 58.5 rushing yards (-115); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook
Detroit’s defense has been epically bad. They’re allowing 35.3 PPG.
The 165.5 YPG they’re allowing on the ground ranks 30th in the league.
This lines up perfectly for Damien Harris of New England on Sunday in the NFL player props department. Harris is the lead back for New England, despite splitting carries with Rhamondre Stevenson. He’s finished with 48, 71, 41 and 86 yards each game this season. He’s also found the endzone in each of his past three games.
You can likely attack the Lions’ D from either the ground or air, but with both of the Patriots’ top two quarterbacks injured and rookie Bailey Zappe under center, logic says Bill Belichick will rely more heavily on the ground game and Harris.

2) Aaron Jones over 58.5 rushing yards (-130); risk 1 unit DraftKings Sportsbook
The Giants head across the pond to play the Packers owning the 28th-ranked rushing defense entering Week 5 allowing 141 YPG.
And while Green Bay only ranks 16th in offense in passing YPG, they’re seventh in rushing YPG with 145.0. Averaging 81.8 YPG on the ground is Green Bay’ top running back Aaron Jones. He finished with 110 yards last week in a 27-24 OT win over the Patriots. It was the second time he’s hit the century mark this season. The two games he did not, came in Week 1 where he was barely used, and in Week 3 against a tough Bucs’ defense. The Giants D is not that. And Aaron Rodgers has been relying more heavily on the ground game this season which should mean another big day for Jones.

Best Receiving Props to Bet for Week 5
1) Dallas Goedert over 3.5 receptions (-160); risk 1 unit at FanDuel Sportsbook
The Arizona Cardinals haven’t been great. They’re 2-2 but could easily be 1-3 if not for a heroic comeback against the Raiders. Their pass defense ranks 23rd in yards against. The Cardinals have been especially bad against opposing tight ends. Through four weeks Arizona has allowed the second-most receptions (28), and yards (342) to the tight end position. They’ve also allowed three TDs to TEs.
That should be great news for Philly TE Dallas Goedert. Goedert is the third-most targeted receiving option for Jalen Hurts.
His stat lines through four weeks have seen him finish with three, five, three and five receptions for 60, 82, 26 and 72 yards.
Tony Gonzalez says that #Eagles TE Dallas Goedert is "The best TE in the league right now."

2) Adam Thielen over 54.5 receiving yards (-115); risk 1 unit at DraftKings Sportsbook
Adam Thielen’s receiving totals through four weeks have read 36 yards, 52, 61 and 72,
The 36 in Week 1 came on just three catches on four targets. Since, Kirk Cousins has started looking his way more often throwing to Thielen seven, eight and nine times the past three weeks respectively. That’s coincided with Thielen having gone over this total of 54.5 yards in all three games.
Justin Fields can’t move the ball for the Bears and Chicago ranks 31st in PPG with 16. Minnesota should have the edge in possession with plenty of drives to give Thielen the chance to pass his NFL player prop total.

Here’s who I like to find the endzone and why for my Week 5 NFL player props:
- James Robinson anytime touchdown (+100); risk 0.50 units at DraftKings Sportsbook: We’ve all seen the Jaguars be pitiful for years and it’s just hard for me to acknowledge they are touchdown favorites over anyone. But they are this week at home to the 0-3-1 Texans who have given up 20+ points in three of four weeks. The Jaguars have scored over 20 points in all four games this season and should get their share once again in Week 5. If they do, James Robinson should factor into your NFL player props. He has four touchdowns on the year, three rushing and one receiving.
- Christian Kirk anytime touchdown (+125); risk 0.50 units at DraftKings Sportsbook: Similar to the above, Christian Kirk has a good chance of finding the endzone against this Texans’ 29th-ranked defense. He leads the Jaguars’ receivers in targets, receptions, yards and also touchdowns with three.
- Damien Harris anytime touchdown (-105); risk 0.75 units at DraftKings Sportsbook: We targeted Harris earlier for rushing yards, but he’s a good pick in Week 5 player props to find the endzone as well. Something he’s done 11 times since Week 11 last season. Harris finished last season with a rushing TD in five straight games and also in 10/11. He didn’t score in the playoffs or in Week 1 this year but has in each of the past three games. Oh yeah, and those 11 TDs since Week 11? They’re the most of any RB in the league during that time.
- Stefon Diggs anytime touchdown (-115); risk 0.50 units at DraftKings Sportsbook: Stefon Diggs may have been held out of the endzone each of the past two weeks, but in Buffalo’s only home game this season in Week 2, he had three TDs and 148 yards on 12/15 catches. He also scored in Week 1. The Steelers enter this game as big underdogs to the Bills and have plenty of secondary issues entering Week 5. CB Ahkello Witherspoon is doubtful, fellow RB Cameron Sutton is questionable, and so too are both safeties Terrell Edmunds and Minkah Fitzpatrick.
