The Memphis Grizzlies will try to even the series in Game 2 as they host the Minnesota Timberwolves at 8:30 pm ET, Tuesday, in their Western Conference first round series at the FedEx Forum.
The No. 7-seeded Timberwolves (48-34/21-21 road) pulled a 130-117 upset in the series opener on Saturday at Memphis in the opener of the best-of-seven series. The No. 2 Grizzlies (56-27/30-12 home) were favored by 6.5 points.
Minnesota has won three of its last four games. Memphis has lost four of five following a seven-game winning streak.

Timberwolves Betting Outlook
Anthony Edwards was the star in Game 1 as he scored 36 points and dished six assists in his playoff debut. He helped the Timberwolves improve to 22-20 against the spread on the road this season.

Edwards became the fourth player in the NBA history to score 35 points in a playoff game before turning 21, joining Derrick Rose, Tyler Herro and Magic Johnson.
Karl-Anthony Towns had his 43rd double-double of the season with 29 points and 13 rebounds. He turned an ankle in the fourth quarter but finished the game and is expected to play Tuesday.
Malik Beasley contributed 23 points and Jaden McDaniels had 15 points and three blocked shots.

D’Angelo Russell finished with 10 points and nine assists and Patrick Beverley contributed 10 points, six rebounds and six assists.
Russell, though, made just 2 of 11 field goal attempts. He scored 37 points against the Grizzlies in the last regular season game between the teams.
The Timberwolves shot 50% (45 of 90), outrebounded the Grizzlies 46-35 and held a 16-7 advantage in three-pointers made. Minnesota did turn the ball over 17 times yet won its playoff opener for the first time since 2004 when it advanced to the Western Conference finals for the only time in franchise history.
Taurean Prince (knee) is listed as questionable. He was also questionable for Game 1 but logged 12 minutes off the bench.
Grizzlies Betting Outlook
Despite losing Game 1, the Grizzlies are still a profitable 27-15 ATS at home this season.
Ja Morant had 32 points and eight assists. However, after making all five shots from the floor in the first half, he was 3 of 13 the rest of the game.

Morant and Edwards became the first opposing players 22 or younger to score 30 points in a playoff game.
The Grizzlies shot just 25.9% (7 of 27) on threes. They never led by more than two points.
Dillon Brooks added 24 points for Memphis, Desmond Bane had 17 points and Brandon Clarke registered a double-double by scoring 13 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.
Jaren Jackson Jr. had 12 points and seven blocked shots. The blocks were a franchise playoff record and came after led the NBA with 2.27 a game in the regular season.

Santi Aldama (knee) is questionable for Game 2 and Killian Tate (knee) is out.
Timberwolves vs Grizzlies Prediction
The Grizzlies had won nine of their previous 10 games against the Timberwolves until stumbling in Game 1.

While that loss might be a wakeup call, Memphis has been struggling recently. Conversely, Minnesota continues to gain confidence.
