The ATS Checkdown: Week 4

It’s clear Matt stole all of Paddy’s Irish luck in Week 3, and Sascha, still searching for answers ahead of Week 4, is forced to do so with a rather pungent taste lingering in his mouth.

After another rough outing from my partner, I’m starting to wonder whether I should be calling on his mom — who won our weekly pick ’em pool in Week 3 — to make Sascha’s picks for him going forward. But he’s put so much work into studying his winning picks from a year ago that I can’t get rid of him yet.

And speaking of people I cannot get rid of, I felt bad for this old man in IHOP yesterday morning who was sobbing uncontrollably, so I figured, why not brighten his day and invite him on to make some picks for the ATS Checkdown?. (After all, it can’t get much worse than that hack Paddy, who went 1-3 last week.) But now this guy won’t leave me alone! He was waiting for me outside the office when I showed up for work, and he said he’d be back around lunch time. (Does anyone know the procedures of obtaining a restraining order?) Let me tell you, Jerry’s picks better pay out.
