Cooper Kupp and Joe Burrow put up some impressive numbers to get their teams to the Super Bowl.
Kupp scored both Los Angeles Rams’ touchdowns while catching 11 passes for 142 yards in a 20-17 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. That came after Burrow passed for 250 yards and two touchdowns as the Cincinnati Bengals stunned the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 in overtime in the AFC Championship Game.
Los Angeles and Cincinnati will meet in the Super Bowl on February 13 on the Rams’ home field at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Rams are the favorites in the 2022 Super Bowl odds. There is a FanDuel Super Bowl 56-1 Promo for those interested in placing a wager on the game.

Odds as of February 1st at DraftKings
Between Stafford’s passing line being higher than Burrow’s, the Rams being the favorites, and his -235 odds to throw for at least two touchdowns, it’s easy to see why the Rams’ QB is favored in the 2022 Super Bowl MVP Odds.

Kupp has the highest total for both receptions (8.5) and receiving yards (102.5). At 63.5, the Bengals’ Joe Mixon has the highest rushing total.

Rams vs Bengals Injury Updates
Both team’s starting tight ends – the Bengals’ CJ Uzomah and the Rams’ Tyler Higbee – were knocked out of Sunday’s games with sprained knees. While the Bengals are optimistic Uzomah will play in the Super Bowl, the Rams aren’t sure about Higbee’s status yet.

Rams running back Cam Akers (shoulder) and wide receiver Van Jefferson (knee) both exited in the first half but later returned.
Rams to Shut Down Mixon
While the Rams were just 17th in the NFL in total defense during the regular season, they were sixth against the run. Seven-time All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald has a lot to do with Los Angeles clogging opponents’ running lanes.
The Rams have allowed 162 yards rushing total in their three playoffs win, including holding the 49ers to 50. San Francisco had the league’s seventh-best rushing attack in the regular season but managed just 2.5 yards an attempt in the NFC Championship Game.

The Bengals’ Joe Mixon finished third in the NFL in rushing during the regular season with 1,205 yards, trailing just the Indianapolis Colts’ Jonathan Taylor (1,811) and Cleveland Browns’ Nick Chubb (1,259).
However, Mixon has not surpassed 100 yards in eight straight games and 65 just once in that span. Despite the early Rams vs Bengals betting lines only having LA favored by 3.5 points, which would make some think we’ll see more rushing attempts in a close game, I am going with the under on Mixon’s rushing total.
- The Pick: Joe Mixon under 63.5 rushing yards (-110)
Can Rams Contain Chase?
The books had the Rams open as favorites over the Bengals as 3.5 point favorites. But the Rams ranked just 22nd in pass defense during the regular season. While Los Angeles has allowed an average of 220.7 yards in the playoffs, it could have its hands full with Burrow and a wide receiver corps that includes rookie Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd.
The Bengals had the No. 7 passing offense NFL during the regular season. Though Burrow has not surpassed 280 yards in the postseason, Cincinnati’s passing game can explode at any time.
Just a rookie, Chase has already become one of the game’s top deep threats. He averaged 18.0 yards a reception in the regular season when he caught 81 passes for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Ja'Marr isn't letting go of that trophy. 🥺🏆

The Chiefs limited Chase to 54 receiving yards after he went over 100 in the first two playoff games. Look for Chase to get back to the century mark against the Rams beat-up secondary.
- The Pick: Ja’Marr Chase over 79.5 receiving yards (-120)
