Bills Big Faves Despite Bad Loss
Despite losing to the lowly Jaguars 9-6 on Sunday as a double-digit favorite in Jacksonville, the Buffalo Bills are the heaviest favorites on the opening lines for Week 10. The Bills (5-3) are 13.5-point road choices over the New York Jets (2-6).
Bills quarterback Josh Allen had a rough day against the Jaguars with three turnovers, including two in the second half. He had not had a second-half turnover all season.
He even got picked – by Josh Allen.

Allen completed 31 of 47 passes for 264 yards with two interceptions and a fumble. He was also sacked four times.
The Jets lost 45-30 to the Colts on Thursday night in Indianapolis. Third-string quarterback Josh Johnson threw for a career-high 317 yards, but it wasn’t enough.

Jets backup QB Mike White started in place of Zach Wilson (knee) then left the game in the second quarter with a hand injury.
Broncos Slim Picks over Eagles
The Denver Broncos are the slimmest favorites as 1.5-point picks at home over the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Broncos (5-4) pulled off a big upset Sunday when they defeated the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys 30-16 in Texas for their second straight win. Denver built a 30-0 lead then coasted to the finish line.
Rookie linebacker Jonaton Cooper had the first two sacks of his career. He moved into the starting lineup after Von Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the week.

Teddy Bridgewater threw for a touchdown and had a sneak for another as the Broncos ended the Cowboys’ six-game winning streak.
The Eagles (3-5) lost to the Los Angeles Chargers 27-24 at home as Dustin Hopkins kicked a game-winning 29-yard field goal with two second remaining.
Rookie wide receiver DeVonta Smith had a big day for the Eagles as he caught five passes for 116 yards and a touchdown.

Jalen Hurts accounted for 214 yards of total offense. He was 11-of-17 passing for 162 yards and a TD and rushed for 62 yards on 10 carries.
Highs and Lows
Three games have a 51.5-point total, which is the highest on the board – Atlanta Falcons at Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Football Team, and Minnesota Vikings at the Chargers.
The lowest over/under is 43 for the Detroit Lions’ visit to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The total has been under in five of the Steelers’ seven games this season, and five times in eight games involving the Lions.
Movement on the Line?
The Cowboys opened as 9.5-point favorites over the Falcons and the Steelers as 8.5-point choices over the Lions.
Look for both spreads to take an upward turn. The Cowboys and Steelers are bettors’ favorites, and are playing at home against teams they should beat handily.
