After a slight delay, Connecticut sports bettors are finally getting their day in the sun. Online Connecticut sports betting is now expected to launch on Oct. 19, with a soft launch planned for a week earlier on Oct. 12.

CT Online Sports Wagering Expected to Arrive on Oct. 19
Following a delay after the original Oct. 7 launch date was scrapped, the regulatory review process for Connecticut online sports betting is set to be resolved for a new Oct. 19 launch date.

Online Sports Betting in CT Gets Oct. 12 Soft Launch Date
On Friday, the Department of Consumer Protection announced that the Connecticut Lottery Company, Meohan Tribe, and Mashantucket Pequot Tribe can partake in a soft launch for their online betting platforms on Oct. 12.
The soft launch will see 750 customers get early access to three online sportsbooks entering Connecticut: FanDuel, SugarHouse (Rush Street Interactive) , and DraftKings. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the chosen customers can make bets from 3-11 p.m. On Thursday and Friday, those hours will change to 12 p.m.-11:59 p.m.
FanDuel , SugarHouse (Rush Street Interactive), and DraftKings each have deals with the Connecticut Lottery Company and local tribes.
