Fever Aim to Move Even of Dream
The biggest objective on the line for Indiana on Tuesday will be trying to climb out of last place in the WNBA standings to move into a tie with Atlanta for the 11th spot. The Fever come into the final week of the regular season with the worst record in the league at 6-23 overall, but would move into a tie with the Dream if they are able to steal the showdown on the road.
Indiana enters Tuesday having lost four in a row, going 3-7 in its last 10 contests. The Fever, coming off of two straight losses to the Minnesota Lynx in Minnesota, are just 2-12 on the year in road games.

So far this season, Indiana has been led by the dominant play of Kelsey Mitchell, who is averaging a team-best 17 points, along with 2.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists and one steal per game. Behind her has been Tiffany Mitchell and Teaira McCowan, with Tiffany Mitchell averaging 12 points, 2.9 rebounds and two assists a game and McCowan tallying 11.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and one assists per contest.

The Fever will once again have to rely on the Mitchell’s and McCowan if they want to ultimately come out on top against the Dream on Tuesday night.
Dream Try to Defend Home Court
As much as Indiana will try to climb out of the last spot in the league standings, Atlanta will try to stay in the 11th seed in the WNBA while trying to defend its home court. The Dream come into Tuesday with a record of 7-22 overall, sitting one game in front of Indiana.
Atlanta has struggled the most of any WNBA team as of late, having lost nine of its last 10 games while coming into the game riding a two-game losing stream. The Dream, most recently coming off of an 82-74 loss to the Washington Mystics on Sept. 10th, are 3-11 at home in Georgia this season.

The duo of Courtney Williams and Tiffany Hayes have led Atlanta nearly all season, with Williams averaging a team-best 16.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.1 steals and Hayes averaging 13.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals a game. Odyssey Sims has been playing well also, tallying 8.9 points, 3.7 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

If the Dream want to come out on top and defend their home court against the Fever, Williams in particular will have to shine for Atlanta.
Prediction and Best Bet
Although the matchup between Atlanta and Indiana features two teams at the bottom of the standings, this game between the squads should still be an entertaining one on Tuesday night in Georgia.
Both sides will be determined to put together a strong showing and ultimately end their losing streaks, and the evenness of both teams will likely make it a back-and-forth game headlined by some talented guards leading the way on the Dream and Fever.
When it comes to predicting who will come out on top in the matchup, let’s go with Indiana hitting the road to come away with a win over Atlanta and even things up record-wise between the two teams. The Fever have been playing well as of late, even though wins haven’t followed, so they should be in a good spot to come out on top.
For the best bet of the night, look at Indiana and it being 2.5-point underdogs leading up to the game. If the Fever do come out on top in this matchup, it will be by more than 2.5 points.
- The Pick: Indiana +2.5 (-110)
