The WNBA will round out the weekend on Sunday, Sept. 5th with a doubleheader of games airing on both ABC and CBS Sports Network throughout the afternoon.
To kick things off, the Las Vegas Aces will travel to take on the Chicago Sky at 3pm ET on ABC, followed by the Atlanta Dream hitting the road to battle the Dallas Wings at 4pm ET on CBS Sports Network.

Aces, Sky Still Fighting for Positioning
Going into Saturday, Las Vegas and Chicago are both still trying to fight for the best possible seeding in the upcoming playoff field.
The Aces enter at 20-7 overall, sitting in second place in the league standings while already having clinched a spot in the postseason. Riding a three-game winning streak, Las Vegas is one game back of the Connecticut Sun for the top spot in the standings and could make things interesting for the first seed in the final few weeks.
Leading the way for the Aces this season has been A’ja Wilson and Liz Cambage, with Wilson averaging 18.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 blocks and Cambage averaging 14.7 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists a game. Cambage, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, could very well miss the game Saturday.
The Sky come in at 14-14 on the year, but have lost two games in a row going into the contest against the Aces.

Chicago is currently the sixth seed in the standings, three games back of the Phoenix Mercury for the fifth seed and 1.5 games ahead of the Dallas Wings who are the eighth seed.
The Sky have been paced by Kahleah Copper with 14.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists, Candace Parker with 13.5 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists, and Allie Quigley with 13.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists a game.
Wings Try to Extend Space and Dream Losing Streak
The second game of the night features a Dallas squad trying to create space at the bottom of the playoff picture, taking on a struggling Atlanta squad trying to remain out of last place in the standings.
The Wings come in having won their last contest to hold a record of 12-15 overall, which is good enough for the seventh seed in the WNBA standings. Dallas remains 1.5 games ahead of the Washington Mystics in the eighth and final postseason spot, but remain 1.5 games back of Chicago in sixth place.
The star for the Wings all year long has been Arike Ogunbowale averaging 19.0 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Behind her, Marina Mabrey has averaged 12.9 points and 4.0 rebounds and Satou Sabally with 12.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists a game.
Atlanta currently holds the last spot in the league standings, having a record of 6-20 overall while riding a WNBA-worst 11-game losing streak.
So far this season, not much has gone right for the Dream after a nice start to the regular season schedule, but have been led by Courtney Williams and Tiffany Hayes. Williams is averaging 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists, while Hayes has recorded 13.8 points, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals a game.

When it comes to injuries for Atlanta and Dallas in the contest, Tianna Hawkins (foot) and Candice Dupree (back) are questionable for the Dream, and Sabally is questionable for the Wings with an Achilles injury.
Best Bet
The first game between Las Vegas and Chicago will be the best game of the day. The potential playoff preview this game presents will make it feel like a postseason game between two teams still trying to get the best possible seed for beyond the regular season schedule.
By the end of the day, don’t be surprised to see the Aces go on the road to take down the Sky in Chicago, followed by the Wings defending home court and extending the Dream’s losing streak in Arlington.
For the best bet of the day, look at the spread for the Las Vegas and Chicago game, specifically the Aces as 1.5-point favorites. Las Vegas is a good road team, holding a record of 9-4 away from home. Chicago, on the other hand, is just 4-8 at home. Go with the Aces covering that 1.5 points.
