The final tune-up on the PGA Tour calendar before next week’s PGA Championship sees a strong field competing at the AT&T Byron Nelson. This tournament has moved around in recent years with the 2018 and 2019 versions being held at Trinity Forest Golf Club. There was no event last year due to COVID-19, and this time it’ll be at TPC Craig Ranch for the very first time.

Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau are co-favorites at a track that hosted the 2008 and 2012 Korn Ferry Tour Championship. Scottie Scheffler will be playing at something of a home game this week, having been born in Dallas and attending UT in Austin. He’s come close to earning that maiden PGA Tour victory the last couple of years, most notably losing in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play final to Billy Horschel in March.
