Thursday night belongs to the NBA this time of year and tonight is no different. Fourteen teams will be in action which means there is more than enough for bettors to keep busy.
Luckily for us, TNT has by far the best two games on the slate. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant will be in Dallas taking on Luka Doncic and the Mavericks at 7:30pm ET. As soon as they are done, we’ll see Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers battling Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers at 10:00pm ET.
See the table below for props on some of the stars taking the court tonight followed by a couple of the better wagers.
As of publish time, there were no props available for the Bulls, Wizards, Pacers, Grizzlies, Pistons or Thunder.

Odds as of May 6th
Green With the Helpers
Draymond Green has always been an enigma since coming into the league in 2012. At 6’6″ and 230 pounds, he definitely does not look like a guy that can run an NBA offense but that’s what he does. Not only does he run the Warriors offense, he does it well.
In only his eighth season, he is fourth in the Warriors’ history in career assists.

It feels a bit crazy to take a player’s assists total over 9.5 but given the player and the +120 price, Green’s is a little easier to digest. Over his last three games, Green is averaging a ridiculous 18.7 potential assists per game. In that span, he has recorded 32 assists even though he has only topped 9.5 once.
Tonight he gets an Oklahoma City Thunder team that is fourth worst in the NBA in opponents assist per field goals made metric over the last three games. They are just playing out the string at this point and it’s obvious. Last time the Warriors played the Thunder, Green dropped 16 dimes. At +120, 9.5 feels like a bargain.
- The Pick: Green OVER 9.5 Assists (+120)
Kyle Lowry Helps Too
The Toronto Raptors have been playing games with the injury reports recently shuffling guys in and out of the lineup. In the last four games, either Fred VanVleet or Kyle Lowry has been out with some sort of maintenance tag. This has led to spike games in the assists category for both and a season-high in the metric for Lowry last time out against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Season highs for Lowry & Siakam! 🤯 #WeTheNorth@pskills43: 39 points, 13 boards@Klow7: 37 points, 11 assists, 8 threespic.twitter.com/UCo3rh9nph

Over his last five games, Lowry has seen 15.3 potential assists per game. That is only a slight increase over his full season numbers but still an increase nonetheless. In those five games, he has recorded at least eight assists in three of them. In the two where he failed to record an assist, he still posted seven and six games so production doesn’t completely fall off.
Even if VanVleet plays tonight and doesn’t follow the same start-sit pattern, Lowry still has a path to eight assists. In the last three games where the duo both played, Lowry recorded eight or more assists in two of them.
This should be a pace up spot for the Raptors who aren’t playing bad basketball lately when opponent is considered. In a close game, this number at this price is not a bad deal.
- The Pick: Lowry OVER 7.5 Assists (+122)
