The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Las Vegas, Nevada for UFC Vegas 15, which goes down on Saturday, November 28, 2020, from the UFC Apex.
In the main event, Curtis Blaydes takes on Derrick Lewis in a very intriguing heavyweight scrap. The co-main event sees former title challenger Anthony Smith looking to snap his losing streak against Devin Clark.
UFC Vegas 15 airs live on ESPN2 and ESPN+ at 10 PM EST. The table below shows odds for the main card at FanDuel and DraftKings, followed by best bets for the event.

Who Will Extend Their Winning Streak?
Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis have been talking about fighting one another for quite some time, and they will finally meet on Saturday night.
Blaydes & Lewis Recent Fights
Alexander Volkov, win by decision | Fight 1 | Alexey Oleynik, win by TKO |
Junior dos Santos, win by TKO | Fight 2 | Ilir Latifi, win by decision |
Shamil Abdurakhimov, win by TKO | Fight 3 | Blagoy Ivanov, win by split decision |
Justin Willis, win by decision | Fight 4 | Junior dos Santos, loss by TKO |
Curtis Blaydes has been the kryptonite for most of the heavyweight division except for Francis Ngannou who has beaten him twice. However, against Derrick Lewis, stylistically, he presents a ton of challenges for the 35-year-old.
Lewis is a fan-favorite for his knockout power and his funny post-fight interviews, and should likely get some buyback on the betting line. However, this is just a bad matchup for him. It likely will be a long night for him as Blaydes is relentless with his takedowns.
Blaydes vs Lewis Stats
29 | Age | 35 |
6’4″ | Height | 6’3″ |
80″ | Reach | 79″ |
5 | UFC finishes | 11 |
When most fans think of heavyweight fights they view two knockout artists standing and trading until someone falls down. However, that won’t be the case in this fight as Blaydes is a different sort of heavyweight fighter. He has phenomenal wrestling skills and takes his opponent down over and over again.

Ultimately, expect Blaydes to take Lewis down and land heavy ground and pound. He will eventually get a  ground and pound TKO win in the third or fourth round. Lewis will likely need to KO Blaydes in the first to win, which I don’t see happening.
Pick: Curtis Blaydes (-325)
Can Smith Get Back On Track?
Anthony Smith is stepping up on short notice and looking to get back into the win column.
Smith & Clark Recent Fights
Aleksandar Rakic, loss by decision | Fight 1 | Alonzo Menifield, win by submission |
Glover Teixeira, loss by TKO | Fight 2 | Dequan Townsend, win by decision |
Alexander Gustafsson, win by submission | Fight 3 | Ryan Spann, loss by submission |
Jon Jones, loss by decision (title fight) | Fight 4 | Darko Stosic, win by decision |
This could very well be a do-or-die fight for Anthony Smith.
Smith has been dominated in both his losses and is getting a step back in competition against Devin Clark. For Clark, this will be his biggest fight to date and had a path to victory with his wrestling. This fight is a tough one to call, but I can’t trust Smith at this point. I think Clark will use his wrestling and jabs to control the fight and win a decision.
Pick: Devin Clark (-102)
Other UFC Vegas 15 Picks:
- Josh Parisian (-225): Parisian will finally make his UFC debut, and I expect him to KO Porter in the first round.
- Zhalgas Zhumagulov (-122): This is a phenomenal fight, but I like Zhumagulov to be more active and win a decision
- Miguel Baeza (-188): Baeza has a ton of power, and I expect him to drop and finish Sato in the second.
- Bill Algeo (+130): Algeo is the more technical striker, and if he can get out of the first, he should be able to win the last two rounds and win a decision.
