Will Gallagher Get Another Stoppage Win?
James Gallagher is one of Bellator’s up and coming stars. The teammate and friend of Conor McGregor is known for his trash-talking and finishing style. Ellenor, meanwhile, is also solid on the ground which makes this fight so interesting stylistically.
Gallagher & Ellenor Recent Fights
Roman Salazar, win by submission | Fight 1 | Nathan Greyson, win by submission |
Jeremiah Labiano, win by decision | Fight 2 | Luthando Biko, loss by decision |
Steven Graham, win by submission | Fight 3 | Faeez Jacobs, win by submission |
Ricky Bandejas, loss by KO | Fight 4 | Espen Kolltviet, win by submission |
Bellator obviously liked this matchup enough to book it for the fourth time. The two were supposed to fight on Sept. 27, Feb. 22, May 16, and this Saturday night. The two have trash-talked one another and promised to submit the other, which makes this fight interesting.

On the feet, they are very similar but on the ground, Gallagher is a lot better and more proven. Once the fight starts, expect Gallagher to throw some leg kicks and get in the face of Ellenor before getting a takedown. Moreover, once the Irishman gets on top, he could finish the fight via strikes.
Gallagher normally uses the ground and pound to get ahold of the back and sink in the rear-naked choke. Expect the same to happen here with Gallagher winning in the first or second round by submission.
At -380, this is a fair price. However, I think a better bet is to parlay him with someone else on the card I like.
Pick: James Gallagher (-380)

Can Ward Add Another Win For SBG Ireland?
This is practically an SBG Ireland against the world card as every single fighter on the three-fight main card train at SBG Ireland.
Ward & Manzolo Recent Fights
Kyle Kurtz, win by TKO | Fight 1 | David Round, win by submission |
Pietro Penini, loss by decision | Fight 2 | Dmitri Ivanov, loss by TKO |
Justin Moore, win by TKO | Fight 3 | Kent Kauppinen, loss by submission |
Jamie Stephenson, win by KO | Fight 4 | Maxim Soroka, win by submission |
This fight really comes down to can Charlie Ward keep this fight standing. The Irishman is a much better striker than Manzolo but if the fight hits the ground, he could be in trouble.
Early on, expect Manzolo to grind Ward up against the cage and work for the takedown. Although, Ward has enough takedown defense that he will be able to keep it standing and eventually hurt Manzolo and earn a TKO win. At -275 it is a bit steeper than I would pay but a three-leg SBG Ireland parlay is not a bad bet.
Pick: Charlie Ward (-275)
Other Bellator Euro Series 9 Picks:
- Kiefer Crosbie (-145): As the odds suggest this is the closest fight on the card. Yet, Crosbie is the more well-rounded fighter and should be able to get a decision win. -145 is a good price to play straight up but he could be parlayed with his two teammates as mentioned.
