Harvick Fares Well on This Track
If you’re looking at options from the group of favorites, Kevin Harvick is hard to beat. He’s won this race in back-to-back years and has now won three of the last five times he’s started here. Looking further out, he has been in the top-five spots in seven of the last nine times he’s raced at New Hampshire.

Harvick is arguably the hottest driver on the circuit these days, as well. He’s been in the top five in seven straight races, including a pair of wins. His consistency on this track and overall this season is why I would lean with him here.
Truex Jr. for a Top 10
Truex Jr. has had a really up-and-down 2020 campaign as he’s had some remarkable results with 10 Top 10’s and four finishes in the top five spots, but he’s also had some big misses. Over his last 11 starts, he has a win and five other results in the top six, and then he’s also finished 10th or worse six times and 23rd or worse three times.

He’s coming off a good result (third) at Kansas and I’m hoping he keeps the momentum going. New Hampshire has been good to him. He’s finished in the top-seven spots in five straight races, leading at least 83 laps in five of the last six here. Look for a good finish from him this week.
Past Five Winners at Foxwoods Resort Casino 301
Year | Driver |
---|---|
2019 | Kevin Harvick |
2018 | Kevin Harvick |
2017 | Denny Hamlin |
2016 | Matt Kenseth |
2015 | Kyle Busch |
Blaney Has Performed Well at New Hampshire
Ryan Blaney only has seven career starts at New Hampshire but he’s performed relatively well here. In his time with Wood Brothers Racing (his first five starts), he finished no worse than 23rd and averaged a 14.8 result. With Team Penske, he’s placed fourth and seventh at New Hampshire Motor Speedway over his last two starts.

Blaney is coming off a 20th-place result at Kansas but, prior to that, had finished seventh, sixth, and sixth. Over his last 14 starts, overall, he has finished in the top-seven spots eight times. I’ll be looking for another good result.
