NBA Players Sitting Out of Season Restart: See Full List By Team and How Odds Have Changed

With the NBA season tentatively set to resume on July 30th amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, news has begun to trickle in about various players opting to skip the Orlando bubble return to play format.
Whether it be for medical, financial or personal reasons – we’ve already seen multiple players opt-out of suiting up in the 22 team format, with more surely to follow.
We will be tracking player news on opt-outs and their replacement signings in the table below right up until the NBA kicks off in central Florida.

- The Grizzlies odds to make the playoffs remained at -140 despite the loss of a key cog in Justise Winslow on July 21st
- After his signing, Michael Beasley tested positive for COVID-19 prior to embarking on his trip to the bubble, and will be replaced by Brooklyn
- As Spencer Dinwiddie and Taurean Prince join the Nets long list of other inactives for the restart they’re still securely favored to make the playoffs at -3500 odds. Their odds to win the Eastern conference have fallen to +8000
- Bradley Beal’s injury has all but ended the Wizards faint hopes at making the playoffs in the East, as their odds to make the postseason have fallen to +2300.
- Gordon Hayward has announced he will leave the bubble to accompany his wife for the birth of their 4th child regardless of the Celtics standing in September. Their odds to win the East remained +700 after the announcement on July 3rd
- Despite swapping the defensive prowess of Avery Bradley for the offensive-minded game of J.R. Smith the Lakers are still +240 favorites for the 2020 title
