With many churches and faith organizations temporarily closed all around the world, it’s far from your typical Easter weekend. The sun may be shining but the world is not ready for mass gatherings like church services to go on as hoped.
Though we’ve found out the Easter Bunny is considered an essential service provider, this year’s spring holiday is still going to be a weird one for many people. The lack of in-person masses has many in the Christian community feeling spiritually displaced.
But fear not, televangelist and proclaimed “most popular preacher on the planet” Joel Osteen has a virtual church gathering planned. Osteen is hoping to connect with familiar viewers as well as the uninitiated. He also has a hell of a lineup ready to go for the broadcast.

For those of you who’ve been sleeping on Kanye news for the past while, his recent album titled Jesus Is King may be a tip off that he’s gone in a different direction personally and professionally.
To promote the religious musical effort, West has formed a collective musical group called The Sunday Service and has been performing with them across America at the biggest cathedrals. His appearance at Osteen’s Easter mass is no surprise given the pair’s unlikely but seemingly genuine friendship.

Another person West has been outspoken about in support of? That’d be Donald Trump. West has been singing the President’s praises for a while now. But don’t expect him to be in full-on MAGA promo mode this Easter.
West will be singing the praises of one man only. The son of God himself, of course. It’s Easter, and this is Kanye’s chance to go full-on Jesus mode. Whether it’s album promotion or being born again, you can expect Kanye to be in devotional mode this weekend, not political.
Picks: “Trump” – No (-300), MAGA Hat – No (-1000)
Odds on How Kanye West Addresses Joel Osteen First
Prop | Odds |
---|---|
Pastor | -150 |
Joel | +150 |
Mr. Osteen | +300 |
Kanye West and Joel Osteen have formed quite the bond. The Internet seemed to be confused about this pairing at first, but now that they have established their connection, it’s hardly anything to bat an eye at.

When Kanye commits to something he goes all in. That statement rings especially true with his religious affiliations. Kanye gets all pomp and circumstance when it comes to religion, so he’s not going to pull out the buddy-buddy first name material with his religious leaders on Easter Sunday.
Watch for Kanye to formally and respectfully refer to Joel Osteen specifically as “Pastor” during the telecast. If you watch closely, you may even see West kneel in worship.
Pick: Pastor (-150)
Odds on Which Word Is Said First
Prop | Odds |
---|---|
Devil | -150 |
Satan | +110 |
When it comes to the dazzle and glitz of televangelism, you can’t have God and Jesus without mentioning the devil to provide some contrast. The presence of Satan makes the holy figures feel that much more enlightening.
With Easter Sunday being of the two holiest days of the year, Christian culture uses the holiday to live up to its holy roller best. Tuning into a televised mass any other Sunday of the year and you hear the word devil used left, right, and center. Turn up the volume on that for Easter and they throw the D-word out even more frequently.

Get ready for a whole lot of devils this Sunday. But don’t worry, spoiler alert predicts Jesus will still rise– this time, with Kanye’s seal of approval.
Pick: Devil (-150)
