The “Oddcast” Podcast: Episode 55, Super Bowl LI Picks

Oh baby! The big day quickly approaches, and the Oddcast is excited. (If that wasn’t evident from the length of this podcast.) Sadly, Sascha is absent for the year’s biggest podcast, and without his efficient guidance, Matt and Eric wander all over the place. They start with some Super Bowl trivia, break down Luke Bryan’s career, talk odd trends and discuss Gatorade far more than any normal human should.
All of this is in an effort to find the best prop bets to bet for Super Bowl LI. And while their picks for that are a lot of fun to listen to, be sure to stick around until the end, when the guys reveal their consensus pick for who will win (against the spread) between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday.
(I’m not going to spoil it here. What’s the fun in that?)
Correction: Eric’s 2-point conversion stat was way off. (Thanks a lot NFL.com!) He missed at least two, one from Super Bowl XLIV and another in Super Bowl XLVIII. So in case you wanted to bet that prop, know that it’s more common than six occurrences.
