- Combate Americas returns this Friday
- Very intriguing bantamweight bout headlines the card
- UFC veteran Anthony Birchak returns to CA
Combate Americas is back this Friday, October 11th in Tuscon, Arizona for a very strong card across all classifications.
The main event sees a very intriguing bantamweight bout between Joby Sanchez vs. Jose Alday while the co-main sees UFC veteran Anthony Birchak takes on Erik Radleim also at bantamweight.
Joby Sanchez vs. Jose Alday Odds

Joby Sanchez | +120 |
Jose Alday | -150 |

Can Alday Extend His Winning Streak?
Joby Sanchez (12-5) is coming off of a submission loss to Brandon Royal at LFA 65 in May. Before that, he returned to the win column over Demetrious Wilson after getting cut by the UFC.
In his brief stint in the UFC, he went 0-2 with losses to Roberto Sanchez and Mark De La Rosa. He also had two appearances on the Contender Series where he beat Manny Vasquez and JP Buys. He also had an earlier stint in the UFC where he went 1-2 with losses to Wilson Reis and Geane Herrera.

Jose Alday (13-4-1) returned to the win column last time out as he beat Juan Pablo Gonzalez at Combate 39.
Before that, he lost the bantamweight title to Gustavo Lopez, losing by TKO after beating him in the fight before for the vacant title.

This should be a very intriguing bout where Sanchez has the striking advantage and Alday has the jiu-jitsu advantage. It is a classic striker vs. grappler matchup where I believe Alday’s ground game and his ability to close the distance to get the takedown will be a big difference-maker.
Alday is arguably the best fighter on Combate Americas’ roster, and suspect him to get a stoppage win here over a UFC veteran to extend his winning streak. It should also get him another crack at the bantamweight title.
Pick: Jose Alday (-150)
Anthony Birchak vs. Erik Radleim Odds

Anthony Birchak | -1750 |
Erik Radleim | +750 |
Birchak Looking to Extend His Winning Ways
Anthony Birchak (14-6) is back in Combate Americas after a brief stint in LFA. He also is a UFC veteran where he went 2-2 inside the Octagon where he beat Joe Soto. He also has fought in RIZIN and has fought some very notable names.
Erik Radleim (4-4) is set for his Combate Americas after fighting in the Mexico regional scenes and has yet to fight any real notable names or fought in any major promotions.

As you can see in the odds this is a clear mismatch and will be total domination. Wherever Birchak wants this fight to go, he will get it to and finish this fight rather easily.
Pick: Anthony Birchak (-1750)
