Keep on Dancing
Favorites like Ray Lewis and Karamo Brown are shoe-ins, given the stars’ ability to previously exhibit their physical stamina in their respective careers. Lewis, the former Baltimore Ravens linebacker, has physical clout in his athleticism. Brown carries a trim physique clearly showcased in his Queer Eye appearances.

Add in well-known Dawson’s Creek actor James Van Der Beek and we have a strong grouping of capable, able-bodied names who could all equally prove a strong case for the championship. But, as we’ve seen on previous seasons, anything goes.
Typically, one of the pre-season favorites often wins this competition. The stereotypical Dancing With the Stars winner is on the younger side, filled with zest, and brimming with star power from the get go.
So Many Options
Dancing with the Stars is fun to watch given the large group of competitors it opens the season with. This year, we have another full gauntlet of celebrities to choose from.
Ranging from well-loved to loathed, young to old, physically fit to out of shape, it’s easy to break down the competitors to an obvious “likely” to “unlikely” quite easy. Separating the good from the great, though, is harder.
Naturally, Brown is the one to watch with his smooth confidence, his strong sense of self, and willingness to adapt in new situation. Everything he learned on Queer Eye is going to pay off.
Pick: Karamo Brown (+550)

Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer is a surprising choice for a competitor this season, but his name has already garnered the show quite a bit of press attention.
It is said that “any press is good press”, but Spicer’s appearance in the season has seen a lot of controversy and backlash. Many are disgusted that the disgraced politician is being shoved down their throats with an appearance on a benign entertainment series but his inclusion on the show has certainly gotten people talking.

Famously, Spicer was dismissed by President Donald J. Trump, so will his appearance on Stars be an opportunity for him to drag the President’s name through the mud?
Doubtful. Watch for Spicer to leave Trump’s name out of the telecasts, especially on the first week of programming.
Pick: No (-2500)
Who Will Be Eliminated First on Season 28 of Dancing with the Stars?
Who Will Be Eliminated First? | Odds |

Lamar Odom | -200 |
Ray Lewis | +150 |
*Odds taken 08/22/19
When considering the odds of which dancer is going to be the first to kick the bucket during the competition, all eyes are down to two competitors: Lamar Odom and Ray Lewis.
Odom, now mostly famous for being the ex-partner of socialite Khloe Kardashian, is the one to watch here. Odom is seen by the non-sports fans as a bit of a fumbling buffoon given his wacky media journey over the past few years. He’s not as coordinated as he was during the prime of his NBA career, so imagine how that will pan out on a dancing program.
Pick: Lamar Odom (-200)
