- De’Andre Hunter averaged 15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game last season
- Cam Reddish should find his way into the top-seven
- Bol Bol offers good value at under 19.5 selections
The 2019 NBA Draft is nearly upon us. One of the biggest question marks this year is where will De’Andre Hunter be selected? The Virginia star is viewed as a potential top five pick, but may slip until later. Sportsbooks have posted a number of odds on player over-unders, so letās take a look at him and others to see where we can find the most value.
Cam Reddish 2019 NBA Draft Position Odds
When Will Cam Reddish Be Selected? | Odds |
---|---|
Over 7.5 | +150 |
Under 7.5 | -220 |
What we do know right now is that Zion Williamson is expected to go first, Ja Morant is expected to go second, and RJ Barrett is slated to go third. Theyāre the elite three in this draft but the question is how do things go after that? Reddish was the third part of Dukeās Big Three and he wonāt have to wait long to hear his name called.

I would bet under 7.5 with this prop as I have a feeling heās going to Cleveland. Some people think the Cavs take point guard Darius Garland but I donāt see it. They took a point guard in the first round last year in Collin Sexton. Reddish makes sense as he fills a positional need, giving them a versatile weapon at both ends of the floor.
Pick: Under 7.5 (-220)
De’Andre Hunter 2019 NBA Draft Position Odds
When Will De’Andre Hunter Be Selected? | Odds |
---|---|
Over 5.5 | +110 |
Under 5.5 | -150 |
Hunter is a high-riser as many mock drafts now have him going to the Cavaliers as well. Again, thatās another spot that makes sense for him as the Cavs have so many needs and taking a point guard for a second straight year just doesnāt make sense.

I would bet the over on this prop as it looks like Garland is going to be the no. 4 pick in the draft. That means that the only slot left for Hunter would be no. 5. The Cavs are a possibility but I see him more likely going sixth, seventh or eighth.
Pick: Over 5.5 (+110)
Bol Bol 2019 NBA Draft Position Odds
When Will Bol Bol Be Selected? | Odds |
---|---|
Over 19.5 | -105 |
Under 19.5 | -135 |
Bol Bol is one of the most intriguing players in the 2019 NBA Draft. The 7ā2″ center played just one year at Oregon but many see him as having a ton of upside. He has unusual size and an enormous 7’5″ wingspan. What makes him special is he can hit outside shots, so heās kind of a Kristaps Porzingis-type of player in some respects.

With the NBA Draft, teams love upside and Bol Bol offers that. I expect him to be gone within the first 19 picks for sure as heās a rare talent. Sure, he has some durability issues but teams in the teens will be willing to take the risk. Bet the under here.
Pick: Under 19.5 (-135)
Darius Garland 2019 NBA Draft Position Odds
When Will Darius Garland Be Selected? | Odds |
---|---|
Over 5.5 | +300 |
Under 5.5 | -500 |
Garland has become one of the hottest names on the board. Although this draft was supposed to be a focus on the Big Three, the New York Knicks – who are selecting third overall – brought Garland in for a surprise last-minute workout. With his name flying up the draft boards, I’d be surprised if Garland lasted past the fifth pick. Bet the under here.

Pick: Under 5.5 (-500)
Coby White 2019 NBA Draft Position Odds
When Will Coby White Be Selected? | Odds |
---|---|
Over 7.5 | +190 |
Under 7.5 | -280 |
Originally, it was White that was deemed to be a sure-fire top-5 pick as the Cleveland Cavaliers were said to be eyeing him. However, with Garland moving up the board and the Cavaliers not necessarily looking for a point guard, White has fallen. The Phoenix Suns at six make sense but they are supposedly not that enamored with him.

I would bet that he falls a bit in this draft, so I’d take a flier on the over odds.
Pick: Over 7.5 (+190)
