- Season 15 of The Bachelorette starts on Monday, May 13th
- Hannah Brown, who was named Miss Alabama in 2018, placed 7th in Season 23 of The Bachelor
- Spoiler alert: there’s a heavy favorite among the eligible bachelors
If you watched last season of The Bachelor, you’re already acquainted with Hannah Brown, the 24-year-old interior designer and former Miss Alabama.
Hannah was a relative longshot in SBD’s early favorites to win Season 23 of The Bachelor, and that proved prophetic, as she and Colton Underwood were not meant to be.
But weep not for our heroine. Starting on May 13th, Hannah will get a new chance at televised love on Season 15 of The Bachelorette.
While about 30 eligible bachelors will be featured on the show, the names of the final 12 contestants are already known thanks to the magic of spoilers.
Below, we set the odds on which man will capture Hannah’s heart, followed by some fun side props.
Warning: If you do not want to learn any spoilers about Season 15 of The Bachelorette, turn back now!

The Early Favorite
The one-and-only RealitySteve gives Luke Parker the edge part way through filming of Season 15.
(SPOILER): We’re only 4 episodes in, and obviously things can change, but from what I’m being told, Luke Parker is the front runner right now for Hannah to pick. Which, if happens, would be 5 seasons in a row that the first impression rose recipient ended up winning.

Luke is a self-described “entrepreneur” from Georgia who works for his family’s import/export business, according to IBTimes.
At 24, he’s in a several-way tie for second-youngest contestant. (Only Matt S., who gets eliminated early, is younger at 23.) Remember that Hannah is just 24, as well.
Photos from the Set Leave Room for a Surprise
The images have since been taken down, but in late March, RealitySteve Tweeted out several photos of Hannah and Tyler C. getting up-close and personal.

Tyler is a General Contractor from Boca Raton, FL. At 26, he’s right in the middle in terms of age. Colton was 27, so a modest two-year age difference shouldn’t be a factor for Hannah.
What about Cam from The Bachelor Finale?
The 30-year-old Austin, Texas native briefly met Hannah on the finale of The Bachelor when Hannah was announced as the next bachelorette. The Texas A&M alum made up a little rap that dropped the “Roll Tide” refrain of the University of Alabama. He clearly will do what it takes to win.

But he also seems to have confused Hannah B. with Hannah G., i.e. the Hannah who raps.
Bachelorette Season 15 Props
Prop | SBD’s Odds |
---|---|
Over/Under age of Season 15 winner | 24.5 years |
Colton Underwood is mentioned in first episode | 1/25 |
Winner works in the sports industry | 30/1 |
An animal costume is worn/used in first meetup | 90/1 |
Ryan S. mentions Gritty, the Flyers’ mascot | 125/1 |
Only three of the final 12 contestants are under the age of 25 (like Hannah, herself), but that includes the frontrunner, Luke. The math adds up to a roughly 50/50 shot that the Season 15 winner is under 25 years old.
I don’t know what you were doing at 24, but I wasn’t putting a ring on anything … except my parents’ coffee table.
When it comes to outrageous costumes, we don’t expect any sloth outfits on The Bachelorette, like the one Alex donned when she met Colton …

… but Connor did come armed with a jewelry-encrusted step stool when he met Hannah on The Bachelor finale (to help them “see eye to eye”). Maybe he has more props in store.
Wondering about the origins of that Gritty prop? It stems from a Cosmo article that aggregated the best fan responses to the initial release of contestant photos.

I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes too high, but there’s a non-zero chance that we’ll get the best possible crossover between The Bachelorette, costumes, and sports: Philadelphia native Ryan S. wearing a Gritty outfit!
