- Magical chemistry is evident whenever Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga perform together
- Their duet at the Oscars was the talk of the Academy Awards
- Books are offering odds that the two will never admit to dating
The post Oscar buzz wasn’t so much about the night’s winners as it was about the winning performance of “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Their duet of the Academy Award-winning song from the movie A Star Is Born was anything but shallow.

The fact that it concluded with a sensual embrace between the two only added to persistent rumors that they’re an item off the stage as well.
But are they really? Books are willing to bet on “no” as the answer to that question. They’re offering a prop bet heavily weighted toward the two not acknowledging that they are dating during 2019.

Avoiding a Shayk Attack?
Cooper and Lady Gaga arrived to the Oscars separately, and though they were seated in the front row, it was noticeable that Irina Shayk, Cooper’s fianceé and his significant other since 2015, positioned herself between the two stars.

Generally a very private couple, Cooper and Shayk, who have a child together, are seldom seen together at public events such as this, so people immediately wanted to read more into it than was evident.
Going Gaga Over Bradley and Gaga
Hollywood has been in the fake romance business for decades. In the past, shrewd publicity agents arranged for prominent stars to be seen together in public in order to get the gossip mills churning out speculation about who’s dating who in La La Land.

The flirtatious public appearances between Lady Gaga and Cooper provide evidence that this sort of PR machine is still pumping out the sensationalism.

What people tend to forget about those who perform on the stage is that they are in fact actors playing to the audience, selling you a tale of fiction and getting you to buy it as reality.
It’s all make believe, though. And if there’s one thing you don’t want to be wagering on, it’s that fairy tales will come true.
